We take Safe Ministry seriously, adhering to the standards of both the Victorian State Government and our Diocese.
All church volunteers and staff must undertake Safe Ministry training and acknowledge their commitment to Safe Ministry.
This is a key element for keeping our church safe.
Safe Ministries Explained:
There are two relevant levels of clearance outlined on this page.
Level 1 - All General Volunteers (Steps A)
Level 2 - All workers & volunteers in Children & Youth Ministry (Steps A, B, C & D)

Step A - ADOM Safe Ministry Level 1 Training & Acknowledging Your Commitment to Safe Ministry is required for all volunteers.

Safe Ministry Training (Level 1)
This level of training is the minimum training requirement by the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.
Training can be completed through the Safer Communities platform via the following link:
Safe Ministry Essentials - Level 1 Training
As part of this Level 1 training, you must also agree to act in accordance with the Safe Ministry Policy and Code of Conduct for Child Safety.

Safe Ministry Essentials - Level 1 Training
As part of this Level 1 training, you must also agree to act in accordance with the Safe Ministry Policy and Code of Conduct for Child Safety.
Working With Children Check (WWCC) & National Police Check
These Victorian State Child Safety clearances of WWCC & Police Check are not mandatory for General Volunteer clearance.
However they are recommended by the Leadership Team at All Souls.
This initial Victorian State Government requirement is required prior to moving on from General Volunteer capacity.
These can be completed via the following links and are at no charge to the volunteer:
Safe Ministry Training (Level 2)
(allow approximately 2 weeks to complete)
Refer Step A to complete Safe Ministry Essentials (Level 1) Training prior to continuing with Level 2; if previously not completed as a General Volunteer.
Complete Safe Ministry with Children and Young People (Level 2) Training
Training can be completed through the Safer Communities platform via the following link:
(Final Step in Approval process - allow approximately 2 weeks to be finalised)
Clearance by Kooyoora Office of Professional Standards (Professional Standards body for the ADOM.)
Clearance for Service Form – Issued by the Parish, for all Volunteer Service roles. (The majority of volunteers will require this form.)
