Jan has been involved in administering clearances and training at All Souls for many years and is always happy to help guide you through.
All church volunteers and staff must undertake Safe Ministry training and acknowledge their commitment to Safe Ministry. This is a key element for keeping our church safe.
Safe Ministry Requirements
There are different training and safe ministry requirements depending on your role:
All Volunteers - Module 1 Essential Training & Signed Commitment to Safe Ministry
Volunteers in Children & Youth Ministry - Modules 1 & 2 Training plus Kooyoora Clearance (which requires WWCC & Police Check)
Parish Council Members - Module 3 Training (available via separate link) in addition to Module 1 & Signed Commitment
Outlined below are the Safe Ministry requirements for all who volunteer and serve at All Souls (this includes Bible readers, helping in the kitchen, welcomers etc.). Use the links below to access Module 1 Essential training and sign your commitment to Safe Ministry. (New volunteer need to complete induction training. Refresher training to be completed every 3 years).
Reimbursement to cover the cost of the training can be arranged by sending your certificate of completion, payment receipt, and your bank details (bank, BSB and account number) to the church office (office@allsouls.org.au) once your training has been completed.
Note: If you are seeking to work with Children or Youth, please continue to the section below.
