Bush Church Aid has a heart for people living in remote and regional Australia. BCA are committed to going the distance to reach Australia for Christ.
People living in sparsely populated areas often don’t benefit from strong support networks. Churches in these areas can struggle financially due to fluctuating populations. Ongoing fellowship can be hard to maintain and encouragement can become a rarity.
In partnership with Anglican Dioceses across the country, Bush Church Aid places committed and gifted Christians in a variety of locations to help people connect with the grace of God revealed in Jesus.
Both grew up in Chile where they were actively involved in youth ministry in their local churches. Topher is a teacher, who in Chile taught Christian Studies and music to upper primary and middle school students, before returning to Australia.
After relocating from Chile the Hallyburtons lived in Sydney where Topher completed a Bachelor of Divinity at Moore College. From January 2017 until December 2020 Topher served as the BCA-supported Schools Ministry Coordinator with SU in Darwin.
